Creighton supports employee participation in the electoral process. Employees are encouraged to exercise their right to vote and, whenever possible, to vote during nonworking hours or by absentee ballot. Please refer to county websites for poll hours and the absentee ballot process. If for any reason your work schedule conflicts with official poll times, contact your supervisor in advance to discuss scheduling accommodations.

For additional guidance on Creighton’s support for time off for voting and election duty, visit Human Resources’ Time Off and Leave Options page. You can also read more about state laws on voting rights and time off, or visit Creighton’s voting information page

In addition, Creighton’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) partner, Magellan Health, offers election-year resources and support for Creighton employees.
