Spring 2023 Final Exam Schedule

The following schedule pertains primarily to Undergraduate and Graduate courses in the College of Arts and Sciences and Heider College of Business. Students in other colleges/schools should check with instructors or your Dean's Office about final exam scheduling.

Room Assignments for Finals:  Classes meet for final exams in the same room assigned for regular class periods unless other arrangements have been made with the Registrar's Office. Consult the instructor or the Registrar's Office with questions or for details.  Following is the exam schedule:

Late afternoon and evening

Classes beginning at 5:00PM or later have exams as follows:

  • Classes meeting M, MW, MWF, MF: May 8 at 6:30PM.
  • Classes meeting W or WF: May 3 at 6:30PM.
  • Classes meeting T or TR: May 9 at 6:30PM.
  • Classes meeting R: May 4 at 6:30PM.
  • Classes meeting F: May 5 at 6:30PM.

Please Note:

1. Classes meeting M, MWR, MTWF, MWRF, MTWRF, W, or F have exams at the same time as MWF classes, except for late afternoon and evening classes.

2. Classes meeting TRF, TWRF, T, or R have exams at the same time as TR classes, except for late afternoon and evening classes.

3. Classes meeting 50 minutes have exams at the same time as the 90 minute time block that encompasses the 50 minutes.

4. Exam meetings on this schedule are determined on the basis of lecture, not lab. For labs, check with instructor for final exam information.

5. Individual student exceptions to the examination schedule will be made only for students who would have four exams on one day.  In this event, the student should contact their Dean's Office.

6. Students in Accelerated Masters Programs whose graduate finals conflict with any undergraduate finals should consult their graduate instructors to arrange alternate exam time(s).

7. Classes meeting at non-standard times (e.g. those that span more than one instructional unit*) should schedule the final activity for the exam block that corresponds as closely as possible to the scheduled class time. For example, classes meeting on Monday between 3:30 and 6PM would schedule the final activity for Thursday, May 4, 10AM. Instructors will confirm exam time with the Dean's Office.
