Course Add/Drop/Withdrawal

Add, Drop, Or Withdraw From Courses

The Difference Between Add, Drop, And Withdraw

Add/Drop is the period when you can change your schedule (without penalty) for a term. It begins the day you are eligible to register and ends at 11:59 PM on the deadline for your program and term.

The Withdrawal period begins after the Add/Drop deadline for your program. When you withdraw from a course, you receive a grade of ďWĒ for that course.

  • Withdrawal deadlines differ based on the start date and length of the courses you are taking, or for the program you are enrolled in. Email Registrar@creighton.edu regarding withdrawal questions.

Instructions on this page are for Undergraduates, who can Add/Drop on NEST prior to the deadline. Youíll need to request approval for changes after deadlines.

Students in other Colleges must contact their Academic Coach or Deanís office for assistance.
