As the University works on its Web Phase 2 project, updates to the intranet (my.creighton.edu) and the external website (creighton.edu) will work to improve faculty, staff and student experience.

As the my.creighton.edu project team aims for an early summer release, the following items have been completed, worked on, or planned.

 What We’ve Done

  • The site menu structure and templates have been finalized with the initial groups, the Finance Division, Human Resources, the College of Arts and Sciences, the Office of the Provost, and Student Life.

  • A Campus Announcement Banner for urgent events has been completed.

  • Creighton Today has been fully integrated.

  • Class and class roster functionality has been added.

  • The project team has identified a broad group of participants for testing and preview of the new site to help ensure it is as error free as possible prior to a broader go live.

  • Training documents and videos for GatherContent have been completed and are ready for training with the next areas of campus.

 What we’re Doing

  • The project team is using and training on the new content management tool, GatherContent, for designated faculty/staff to use to create and manage content across the site. This tool is streamlining processes and ensuring content will easily be kept up to date.

  • Work continues on a University Calendar function.

  • The Department Directory and People Directory are almost complete.

 What’s to Come

  • As the team finishes refining, they will reach out broadly across campus to engage other areas.
