The Center for Faculty Excellence is opening the door for several opportunities to collaborate in person at the start of the upcoming semester:

Coffee and ConverStations 

Your dedication and passion to teaching is a cornerstone for Creighton students and their learning. The Center for Faculty Excellence looks forward to the incredible contributions you will make in the months ahead. To kickoff the year, we invite you to join us for Coffee and ConverStations. This is an opportunity to connect with colleagues, share teaching experiences and discuss exciting plans for the upcoming year. Highlighted stations for engagement: Vevox; Generative AI; Open Nest; Request a Consult Program; Teaching, Learning and Assessment Symposium; and more.

  • Omaha: Thursday, Aug. 29; 8 to 9:30 a.m.; Reinert Alumni Memorial Library building, Lower Level, Suite 33; Coffee & donuts will be provided. Drop in that morning.

  • Phoenix: Thursday Sept. 5; 8:30 to 10 a.m.; PHSC 604; Coffee & bagels will be provided. Drop in that morning.

Afternoon Tea with The Trendsetters

Join facilitating faculty Gargi Vyas, PhD, and Jim Martin, PhD, both of Interdisciplinary Leadership in the College of Professional and Continuing Education, and Jack Taylor, PhD, Research and Compliance, Biostatistical Core, for Afternoon Tea with The Trendsetters on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

In the first Fall 2024 meeting for the Trendsetters community-of-practice, socialize and connect with new members. There will be a brainstorm on quantitative research. Come with questions, results or any input on quantitative projects at any stage. Registration is open to both existing and new members of the Trendsetters. Read more and register in Bridge.
