Sustainable Creighton Swag Guide

With a new academic year, it’s time to consider new strategies for swag. The Office of Sustainability Programs has compiled a new resource to help reduce the environmental impacts of giveaways – Sustainable Creighton Swag Guide. 

Every year Creighton University departments, divisions and student organizations purchase large amounts of giveaway items (swag) to distribute at events and for promotional purposes. Unfortunately, lower cost, easy to replicate items often end up in the landfill. The new swag guide is intended to serve as a resource to help your team to be more mindful of the environmental impacts of swag and to help you reduce your impact by making intentional, Eco-friendly decisions around giveaways.
Making more sustainable choices when considering swag is one way to care for creation and support the Sustainable Creighton Initiative to reduce waste. 

The Sustainable Creighton Swag Guide is housed on the Sustainable Creighton Education & Resources website along with guides for Eco-friendlier events, Eco-friendlier tabling and more.
