Join the Center for Faculty Excellence (CFE), University Research Council, Research & Scholarship and the Lynch Cancer Research Center on Wednesday, Sept. 18, for its program, Research from All Angles: Cancer.

This year, the Research from all Angles series highlights wide-ranging perspectives on cancer research, a timely topic as the Lynch Cancer Research Center launches a major growth initiative. Faculty speakers from across the university will provide brief comments designed to stimulate conversation. Attendees will learn about the various angles within cancer research with informative presentations by faculty experts. The event is in Omaha from 3:30-5:30 p.m. CT in the Skutt Student Center ballroom and available on Zoom for those in Phoenix from 1:30-3:30 p.m. MST. The moderator is Julie Strauss-Soukup, PhD, associate vice provost for Research and Scholarship and professor in the College of Arts and Sciences. Presenters include: Laura Hansen, PhD, School of Medicine; Mandy Kirkpatrick, PhD, College of Nursing, Rachel Mindrup, College of Arts and Sciences, Waddah Al-Refaie, MD, School of Medicine; Jun Xia, PhD, School of Medicine; Sarah Gloden Carlson, JD, School of Law.
