Purcell Last Class Lecture on April 29

The Heider College of Business and Thomas J. Purcell, III, JD, PhD, the John P. Begley Endowed Chairholder and professor of accounting in the Department of Accounting and Business Intelligence and Analytics, invite the Creighton community to join Purcell as he gives his last class lecture on Monday, April 29, in the Harper Center Hixson-Lied Auditorium starting at 3:30 p.m.

After 47 years of teaching and service to Creighton University, Dr. Purcell plans to retire at the end of the spring semester. Dr. Purcell’s last lecture is titled “Ordinary Places, Sacred Spaces: A Reflection on Sixty Years in Jesuit Education” and will include a virtual tour of Creighton’s campus.

Following the lecture, there will be a reception in the Union Pacific Community Room, Harper Center, Room 2057/2058.
