Their groundbreaking research in collaboration with Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy (HETRA) has shown that children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) benefit from intervention with horses and improved their social and motor skills. This study was funded by the National Institute of Health.
