Creighton staff and faculty are invited to volunteer for Project Connect 2024 (formerly known as Project Homeless Connect Omaha), a one-day, one-stop-shop event providing a wide range of on-site services and support to individuals who are currently unhoused or at risk of losing their housing.
This free event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 9 at Baxter Arena. Volunteering at this event would qualify for the Volunteer Service Paid Time Off benefit.
Project Connect is a crucial initiative that brings together a variety of resources under one roof to assist those in need. Attendees will have access to services such as healthcare, legal aid, disability benefit application assistance, housing resources and more.
Volunteer to serve as a navigator to guide and support participants as they access services. Navigators will be paired with participants on a one-on-one ratio, helping them navigate the event and connect with the services they need. Read more about this event.

All volunteers are required to attend a training session prior to the event. The training will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 25, from 6 to 7 p.m, and will be on Zoom. Please add the training to your calendar.
