National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, observed in July, aims to bring awareness to the unique struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face regarding mental health. 

It seeks to break the stigma surrounding mental illness, promote mental health services and improve access to care for minority groups. The month also highlights the importance of culturally competent care and encourages communities to address mental health disparities. Read more
