Mullins Awarded Grant and Selected for Fellowship

Dave Mullins, PhD, professor and chair of the Department of English, has been awarded a $1,500 "Writer of Note" grant from The de Groot Foundation for his novel-in-progress, The Houndsman. 

Additionally, Mullins has been selected for a Walter E. Dakin Fellowship from the prestigious Sewanee Writers’ Conference at The University of the South. He will attend the conference as a fellow in July. The conference is in Sawanee, Tenn.
