Students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends are invited to attend the annual Lori A. Schweickert, MD, Endowed Medical Humanities Lecture Series. This year's keynote is titled "Quality of life measures in clinical and public healthcare decision making: Impacts on people with intellectual and developmental disabilities" and is given by William F. Sullivan, MD, PhD.

Sullivan serves as the Joseph P. Kennedy Senior Chair in Bioethics, Kennedy Institute of Ethics, Georgetown University. His clinical and academic work integrates ethics and primary health care of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). He is also interested in developing methods for effective collaborative research on complex clinical and ethical questions.

Held in the CL and Rachel Werner Center for Health Sciences Education room 407B.

The keynote will be on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 5-6:30 p.m. in the CL and Rachel Werner Center for Health Sciences Education, 407B, followed by a Q&A and reception for all in attendance. Read more on the Creighton Events page.
