Lavender Welcome is on Thursday

Faculty and staff are invited to attend this year’s Lavender Welcome on Thursday, Aug. 22, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., outside Brandeis Hall on the Creighton Intercultural Center patio. Write affirming messages and help welcome new students and friends during the annual event.

At Creighton, the Gender Sexuality Alliance has been a presence on campus for more than two decades. Since 2012, Creighton has hosted a Lavender Welcome, an event to welcome Creighton students and others who are members of the LGBTQIA community and allies. All are invited.
