Janousek Presents Medicaid Policy Research at MPSA Conference

Christian Janousek, JD, PhD, assistant professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations, recently presented research on state health policy at the Midwest Political Science Association (MPSA) annual conference in Chicago on April 4-7.

The paper, titled “Unveiling Medicaid fraud and abuse: The influence of price transparency and state political context,” was in the conference session on Barriers to Effective Social Policies. The study examines state policies that affect the potential for Medicaid fraud enforcement and management. Janousek also served as chair and discussant for a conference session on Government, Agency, and Policy Overseas.
