Janousek and Students Attend Nebraska City/County Management Association Conference

Christian Janousek, JD, PhD, assistant professor, and six students from the Department of Political Science and International Relations attended the 2024 Nebraska City/County Management Association (NCMA) annual conference in York, Nebraska, June 20-21.

Janousek presented information on expanding professional development and engagement opportunities for undergraduate students seeking careers in state and local government in Nebraska. The annual conference hosts public managers and administrators from communities throughout the state.

The students are members of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Student Chapter at Creighton University, of which Janousek is the faculty advisor. Students attending were Ellie Fogarty, William Harper, Durham Kelly, Shannon McFadden, Michael O’Rourke and Mary Said.
