Emergency Response Guides Located on Phoenix and Omaha Campuses

Public Safety recently published a new campus safety resource, the Emergency Response Guide, which provides campus-specific emergency guidance for multiple potential scenarios. The guides will be physically co-located with AEDs and Stop the Bleed kits in about 60 locations across the Omaha campus and on each floor of the Phoenix campus. You can also access the guides digitally.

Reviewing these guides before an emergency allows readers to consider how they would respond during an emergency by identifying alternate exit routes and safe spaces in the locations where they regularly spend time on campus. We encourage campus leaders to allocate time in your next staff meeting or class to discuss the information in these guides. We hope these discussions will increase your awareness of emergency procedures and enhance the safety of our community.
