As a proud First-Gen Forward Network Leader institution, Creighton University is committed to supporting and celebrating the achievements of first-generation college students. We also recognize and value the unique perspectives that our first-generation faculty and staff bring to our University community.

Creighton defines a first-generation student as a student whose parents or guardians did not obtain a four-year degree from a college or university.

Creighton’s First-Generation Steering Council invites faculty and staff who identify as first-generation college students to fill out this brief survey.

Whether you'd like to share your story down the road, participate in first-gen programs throughout the year, or simply be recognized as first-generation on our website, we welcome all levels of participation. Your involvement at any level will help the council lead continued efforts in building a supportive environment at Creighton while providing inspiration and guidance to our first-generation students.
