The Center for Faculty Excellence has opened calls for several upcoming events and initiatives.

Teaching, Learning, & Assessment Symposium

Creighton colleagues, faculty and staff of curricular and co-curricular areas are invited to share your individual or departmental work at Creighton’s Teaching, Learning and Assessment Symposium virtual poster session. Share your innovative teaching strategies, scholarship of teaching and learning research or assessment from your teaching and learning practices. Find more details. Submit proposal for virtual poster session. Deadline to submit is Sept. 24.

Distinguished Educator in Teaching as Scholarship

Nominations for the Distinguished Educator in Teaching as Scholarship Award are now open. Faculty are invited to self-nominate or nominate a faculty colleague for this University-wide teaching award, to be presented at the March 2025 Faculty & Staff Awards. Read the call and instructions. Submit an online application. Application deadline: Oct. 3 at 10 a.m.

eLearning Innovation Grant

The eLearning Innovation Grant supports the development of innovative solutions addressing instructional challenges in online, hyflex, hybrid/blended or web-facilitated learning, in collaboration with instructional designers from the CFE eLearning team. Read full call for proposals. Submit proposal. Application deadline is Sept. 26. Award notification date is Oct. 15.
