Black Receives National Award for Advancing the Profession

Lisa Black, PT, DPT, professor of physical therapy, earned recognition as a Catherine Worthingham Fellow of the American Physical Therapy Association on July 27 in Kansas City. 

This award is the highest accolade in the membership category which recognized her unwavering efforts to advance the physical therapy profession. Black is the third current faculty member to earn this award and the seventh in the history of the program.
