With expertise in human trafficking, Sarbinaz Bekmuratova, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, has been invited to serve as an associate editor for the Journal of Human Trafficking. Read more.

The Journal of Human Trafficking is an international peer-reviewed journal that focuses on human trafficking applied research, practice and policy development aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In her new role, Dr. Bekmuratova will support the advancement of human trafficking scholarship nationally and globally ensuring the rigor of human trafficking scientific research and scholarly discourse.
