Asian World Center Welcomes Under Secretary of State on Anniversary of D-Day

Creighton's Asian World Center, in collaboration with the Nebraska World Affairs Council, hosted a conversation and luncheon with John Bass, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs on June 6.

Under Secretary Bass discussed how the Secretary of State's global activities benefit the residents of Nebraska. He emphasized the importance of alliances and partnerships in addressing shared threats and leveraging opportunities for economic growth and technological advancement. Additionally, he highlighted the strategic self-interest in supporting Ukraine and maintaining a commitment to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
