This year, 47 faculty and staff were awarded the annual Iggy Award, a student recognition initiative led by the Office of Student and Family Support at Creighton University, named after the Jesuit founder, St. Ignatius of Loyola.

The award goes to those who have been instrumental in helping make the Creighton student experience a caring and supportive one. First-year students were invited to nominate faculty, staff and student leaders as their Iggy. Nominated faculty and staff receive a congratulatory letter with nominee comments and a bookmark recognizing their recognition.
