The Center for Interprofessional Practice Education and Research (CIPER) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for two professional development program opportunities: the CIPER Associates Program and CIPER Scholars Program. Both programs are two years in length. Associates and scholars will form interprofessional cohorts and receive mentorship based on the area of selected focus.
Who can apply?
Faculty and staff from any school or college at Creighton University or an affiliated partner.
Commitment and Timeline
Participants will commit to attending about four meetings per year with their mentor and meetings that occur as part of the didactic learning modules with members of their cohort. Meeting dates, times and locations will be identified later based on cohort availability.
Year 1: introductory meetings, didactic learning modules, readings, discussions for foundational knowledge
Year 2: readings, discussions, implementation of project, dissemination of project
Expected Outcomes of participants include: complete all foundational knowledge learning modules, actively participate in mentorship process and opportunities to collaborate with others in cohort and develop and disseminate interprofessional project.
How to Apply
Apply online by Aug. 2. Applicants will need to include a letter of support from their department chair and a CV in the online application.
All applications will be reviewed, and program participants will be selected by Aug. 12. The two-year program will begin at the end of August. Detailed eligibility criteria for each program are listed in the attached documents.
