Faculty Associates and Fellows

CFE Faculty Associates Program

The majority of the CFE’s faculty development programming each year is created and facilitated by Faculty Associates and Fellows. Faculty and professional staff who teach apply annually to be an Associate or Fellow, and positions are awarded on a selective basis. Associates and Fellows design and deliver programs aimed to enhance student learning, promote the scholarship of teaching and learning, and facilitate an institution-wide understanding of effective teaching and learning, research and scholarship, and leadership.

Faculty Associate: faculty or staff selected for their a 2-year term; Senior Faculty Associate: faculty or staff selected for a subsequent 2-year term; Faculty Fellow: faculty or staff selected for a 1-year term to assist with a specific CFE project need.

The Faculty Associate Program had been led by: Shirley Scritchfield, PhD, Scott Chadwick, PhD, Mary Ann Danielson, PhD, Debra Ford, PhD, and Lou Jensen, OTD, OTR/L.

Over 50 Creighton faculty have been integral members of the Faculty Associates Program since 1999. For more information, contact Faculty Development Specialist, Mary Emmer at maryemmer@creighton.edu or at 402.280.4779.
