Make the most of your time at Creighton University by getting involved in the College of Arts and Sciences Student Senate. The Student Senate exists, not only for the betterment of the college as a whole, but to represent all arts and sciences students.
The Student Senate aims to improve the college through three avenues:
- Academic—such as the advising task force team
- Social—such as the annual Academic Dinner and the Dean’s Service Honor Roll Reception
- Philanthropic—such as annual blood drives held in conjunction with the Red Cross (the largest blood drives on campus!)
The Student Senate works hard to advance the issues important to students just like you! In recent years, student senators have:
- Analyzed “Dead Week” (the week before final exams) and how best to help students through this stressful time
- Drafted an Academic Honesty Handbook for the entire college
- Strived to implement an Integrity Pledge
By being a member of the college’s Student Senate, you can get involved in important philanthropic work—both on and off campus.
