Health Professionals: Arbinger Institute Lecture Mindset Drives Behavior, Jan. 12

Open to all Creighton health professionals, the Arizona Health Education Alliance will host the Arbinger Institute lecture Mindset Drives Behavior on Wednesday, Jan. 12.

Organizational development and leadership experts have struggled to explain why 70% of organizational change efforts fail. One of the critical reasons is that change efforts usually focus on behavior, rather than on what drives behavior – mindset. Join as friends and colleagues explore foundational mindset, ensuring our learners adopt behaviors that drive the desired results, led by speaker Jordan Weinberg, MD, Division Chief of Trauma – Acute General Surgery at Dignity Health Medical Group and Trauma Medical Director at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

The program is from 1 to 2 p.m. (CST), noon to 1 p.m. (MST). No registration is required. Join via Zoom.

Weinberg received his medical degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and completed general surgery residency at Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, followed by surgical critical care/trauma fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
